On this page we are going to relate some humour. These are stories, comments and queries that we have had at various times at markets and while doing business as The Unusual Earring Co.
One day at a market, a little old lady comes strolling toward our stall, glances up at the banner, turns to Dawn and asks “What is so unusual about your earrings, my dear?
Dawn: “Well, please have a look through our products and I am sure you will soon see the reason behind the name.”
So she steps closer to the nearest frame of earrings and soon exclaims, “Oh my goodness, who would wear these earrings. They are unusual!”
She then notices the business cards on display and takes one, has a good look at it, turns to Dawn and asks, “Are you Mrs Murphy?
Of course Dawn replies, “Yes, I am.”
To which the little old lady responds, “Oh! Well! That explains everything.” And calmly wonders off to the next stall.

At one of our Market 031 night markets . A gentleman stopped in front of the stall and had a good look at the banner.
Then he came into the stall and had a look at the various earrings we have on display. A short while later he turned to me and with a nodding smile said, “I give you 9 out of 10 for the name.”
Most people read our name as “The Unusual Earring Company.”
I prefer to read it as “The Unusual Earring Couple.” Give me 10 out of 10. 🙂
